where God’s previous working meets our present response

I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. (Gal 2:20)

Alone in the dark I wonder
As my thoughts to and fro do wander

A well worn path my thoughts do make
To the feet of God my prayers do take

Cares and concerns, neighbor and other
Enemy, stranger, sister, or brother

Up and down, down and around
Heart of God touched by a silent sound.
